Chibicon: August 2012

I finally got to go to another one of our groups chibi anime conventions. They are very small, and usually hosted in a library meeting room.

See that image on he right of North and South(he was drawn first) Italy? That was my initial image for the fan-art contest, having only limited time, dollar tree markers and pencils to work with.

Big thanks to my mother, and grandmother(she funded the material for the second image). During the lunch break, my mother picked me up and we went to the Dollar Tree not far away, and she got me a pack of colored pencils and a new sketch pad from there to work with. I still cannot find my old one nor my other pack of colored pencils.;_;

Anyway, once back, I had time to make that image of South Italy on the far left and entered that one instead. I think I got one vote.

The person who won very much deserved the victory. Her drawing of slightly older Mini-moon was great!

On the plus side, I had a ton of fun and even won one of the door raffles and got to pick out that Beyblade G-revolution dvd, in the middle up there!

I'm tired, but pumped to do some drawing and video editing before I go to sleep later.

Also, that is my monitor the dvd is leaning against.
It is an acer, for the curious. 19.5 inches, I believe. Got it from newegg, and love it!

Extra also, while it is not my 100th deviation, technically, I've had to delete a few pics and a meme that I did not know broke rules here, this is number 100 to stay on the page!
